First Steps on the Platform as a Mentee

Welcome to Mentor Lane!

Our purpose at Mentor Lane is to provide you with the very best mentoring experience – so that you can achieve the best version of yourself. Not only can you find the right mentor at Mentor Lane, but also a whole community of mentors and mentees who support each other.

Your first step is to create your mentee profile.

First, answer a few multiple choice questions about what best describes you and your goals. We use this input for the Matching Process so that we can suggest the most suitable mentor for you. Your first three selected options are always the most important and will be weighted more heavily for matching.

At the end, you have the chance to describe yourself and your goals in your own words. This is a great opportunity to make a strong first impression, because your profile is the first thing about you that your potential mentor will see.

Next, simply upload a profile picture of yourself or create one directly via the platform.

Finally, it’s time to book your membership. Here you can decide between two options depending on how many mentors you want to work with. If you want to work with 1 or 2 mentors at the same time, select the “Start” Option. If you want to work with 3 or more mentors, then choose the “Unlimited” Option. You can also choose between a monthly or annual subscription.

And that’s it! You are then an official mentee and can send your first mentorship requests.
